1. I would try my best to let them know how important it is for a child to use technology early since it is being used more and more everyday.
2. I really have no idea.
3. Computer hardware is something that is installed when the computer is put together, such as the screen, keyboard, etc. Software are things like the processor and things like that. Internet browser is the only thing that I can think of. A search engine would be something like google. This woud be something like Microsoft excel for spreadsheet and databases.
4. Well I honestly believe that all the legal issues are important. It something that will have to be checked into when I actually become a teacher to see if the schools have the right license and such for me to perform whatever it is that I need to do for my classroom. If they do not, however, I will keep in mind what I can and cannot do with certain issues.
5. Yes, I do believe that working with a partner in a computer lab will be worthwhile. I believe that for every new computer project that a new partner is required everytime. It will help those who do not know much about a computer learn more from each new person he or she works with. I feel that it would have helped me in school.
6. You could have your students to do things like take polls of the students around school of how many people own a cell and or computer. I really dont know what would work outside of class.
7. On thing is for sure have the time limits set between 9-8. You can also have them questions and have them twitter the answer. But twitter is not going to be a user friendly thing for long if they dont get it working right because half the time it does not work.
8. Really all of it. I was told all we would be doing in this class was sitting charts and things like that. So everything that I have done in this class was new and I feel really good about using it all on my own.
9. I have no idea becasue I have learned so much from this class as it is. What more can I learn? I know that there is a lot more I need to know, but I just cnat think of anything.
10. I really enjoyed the cramberry. I would love to tell my students about it so that they can use it at home for a study guide for test even if its not for my class.

Adaptive technology
Scene1
I would say that within the first week of school I would try my best to learn what each students needs are. I would then have to sit down and think about how I could make whatever activity that is planned accommodate them. At any point of the year that I might come across an activity that is too difficult to change I would consider either a totally different activity for the class as a whole or maybe for just the student that is having a problem. I mean how many different ways can you do a certain activity that is planned for the day.
Scene2
When having a problem in the classroom and with accommodating your activities and children, it is best to consult with other teachers and get ideas and opinions. They may help you realize things that may have been blocked from your mind and things like that. In many ways, this helps you become a better teacher and helps with your instruction.
Scene3
It is making it a lot easier to accommodate every child. Her ideas are great. Oscar can't read so by reading the story out loud to the students he will be able to understand the story since he has trouble reading. He can then draw out the picture book and write in his journal.
Scene4
I have not yet actually used web quest, but I do not see anything wrong with using it to meet the students needs. In fact, I believe that it would be to help Oscar out. It seems that the students can learn a lot from what they are trying to accomplish.
Scene5
It seems that all the children in that group got a along very well and was understanding of Oscar's needs. They were whisper reading that would help Oscar out since he had vision trouble. No, I think by including him, it helped build him up and learn how to work with others.
Scene6
By reading the each story to the students it helped oscar with the assignments so that he could do them. By having the students work in groups it may have helped those who have trouble working alone. By showing the children a sample of what she was expecting it helped them to better understand what they needed to do. Sometimes by showing the children and talking to the children it will help those who cant see and those who have trouble reading and understanding.

Short Story

Push Pop the Orange Cow Way down in the meadow green, there lived an orange cow named Push pop. Now Push pop wasn’t your average cow because well, he was orange. He was the only orange cow where he was from. Push pop didn’t have any friends. All of the other farm animals made fun of him and would not let him play. This made Push pop very sad. He spent his days grazing the green meadows and standing by the pond under the biggest oak tree he had ever seen. Day after day, he did the same things over and over again. One day he noticed some new animals arriving. Push pop was not a happy cow. He just knew that there would be some more animals to make fun of him for being orange. Despite how Push pop felt, he was going to greet every animal and make them feel welcome in his home. While watching the animals get off the truck he noticed a very funny looking cow. It was a cow of a different color. As this cow lumbered off the truck, Push pop was excited to see that it was a red cow. He just knew that he could become friends with this red cow. As planned Push pop went up to everyone to say hello, but most of them just turned their noses up to him. This was something that Push pop was used to. He waited to approach the red cow last in hope of making a friend. On his way over to talk to the red cow, he was thinking of several things to say, but just didn’t know what. So he just said, “Hi, I’m Push pop, what’s your name?” The red cow stared for a moment and said, “Hi, My name is Cherry and I would love to be friends.” Oh, how those words excited Push pop. He finally had a best friend. From that day forward Push pop and Cherry did everything together and neither of them ever felt lonely again.

Taking root
As a future teacher I do think that education videos could be effective in the classroom. I mean not all students learn the same way. Some have to see how things are done and if you could show a video to help them better understand what they are goin over, then I say go for it. Some videos probably are better for some subjects than textbook. I do know that in some cases I do better watching videos.

Dangers of Teen Sexting (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/01/15/national/main472361.shtml)
Well as a young parent I am aware of how teenagers these days are. I have two little girls and a little boy on the way. I would say that I would have to do radom checks of my child's phone to see what they are up too. The same with the computer. Why are parents giving there 10 year old child a cell phone anyway? They just be at least 16 and able to pay the bill themselves. Even then a cell phone is a privilage not a right. Children dont need them anyway. As a teacher I what can you do besides stress the dangers and what can happen to them. Tell them it will ruin their lives.

usm game
I really didn't think that we have a good time, but we did. My girls loved it. I really don't recall the use of any technology being used other than than the digital score board. However, cell phones were being used to keep in touch with classmates and such. Other than that not really sure what else was used.

Flashcards
I really liked the cramberry site. I really enjoyed making flashcards. I think that it would be great to use in the classroom or even for your own personal use. If only more and more children knew about this, they could use it to create study flash card for anything. I will tell my friends about it.

technology in the classroom
I think that technology in the classroom is a wonderful thing. Its better to start children off young with learning how to use computers and how to use them day to day. I feel that the teacher must have a plan and stick to it when teaching children how to look things up so that he or she is not all over the place and losing the children. Today the world has gone mostly digital and so computers will be used more and more with children. http://www.compu-trac.com/Classroom-Solution-Benefits.html

1. The thinnest laptop is Apple. 120GB, gree wifi
2. Word Perfect
3. The difference between blue ray and a standard dvd is that a blue ray can hold way more information. Blue ray disc can not be played in a standard dvd player, but standard can be played in a blue ray player.
4. Firefox, Apple Safarie, Internet Explorer. I use the internet explorer because its the only one i have ever used and I like it. If its not broke why fix it right.
5. Google Earth is really neat. You can type in any place that you want to look at and it takes you there. You can walk down the street to see what its all about. I would recommend the use of this in the classroom because I feel it would give students a better uunderstanding about places around the world if they can see it.
